Having a personalised number plate is like putting two fingers up to the rest of the world. Saying I've got so much money I can waste on it something like this

Do you feel the same way about poker players who wear ridiculously expensive hoodie's and watch's?

Yo cove I may have said it in a jokey way but I honestly believe women have no place in football as do probably most of the people who read this post. Obv some won't say so though

Every single female Chelsea fan I know knows the reason why Chelsea are associated with celery, after reading your answer in the Chelsea thread apparently you didn't,perhaps these female fans might be of the opinion that you have no place being in Stamford Bridge or calling yourself a Chelsea supporter if you don't even know basic stuff about Chelsea's history and the origins of certain traditions?

im so impressed that you know every single female chelsea fan that i struggled to get past the first four words of your post.

Obviously you did, otherwise you wouldn't have mis-represented what I said, and I doubt I'm going to struggle past even one word of your posts anymore, lifes too short.

You can be outraged, that's fine.  I think what they did was stupid, insensitive, inflammatory, misguided, and ultimately wrong and an insult to those who have died in conflict protecting the rights and freedom of the people of this and other countries.

But do you see that they have the right to do it?

I understand the point you are making and it's valid but there are some things that cross the lines of simply exercising free speech and extend into something very dark and dangerous, yesterday was one of those times.

"I detest what you say, but I will defend to the the death your right to say it."

That's what the men and women of our armed forces have fought and died for.

If a group of paedophiles organized a march calling for child abuse to be legalised we would be morally outraged, surely yesterdays incident falls into the same category of what is not acceptable behaviour in a decent society.

it was only 30 people

30 people insulting dead peoples memory's is 30 people this country could do without,

As far as I can see there 3 possible reasons why the BBC didn't report this vile and sickening story:

1) PC - Fear of inflaming race relations
2) They didn't deem the story newsworthy
3) None of their reporters saw the incident

All 3 are inexcusable, if it was for any of the first 2 reasons especially so,if it wasn't for the sacrifices of the armed forces who gave their lives the BBC would probably be known today as the Deutschland Broadcasting Corporation,so to chose to ignore such an insult to those people's memory's is hypocritical, disrespectful and unforgivable.

jamie was responsible for my favourite quote of the day. Now usually I don't really like players who overly celebrate at the table but this was kinda funny.  All-in pre jamie with jacks, opponent ace-king. Opponent flops a king, jamie rivers an 8 for a straight & goes '8 ball corner pocket.'

The guy openly admits in his post that he has already consumed a fair amount of alcohol when he was writing it,now as a long time lurker on this forum I can't help but find it amusing that so many of you regulars feel justified in patronising him by picking mistakes in his spelling or his lack of paragraphs, and are lightening quick to put this newbie in his place, honestly, given the events that have recently happened on this forum do you really think this endears you to the wider viewing audience? Do you even care? My advice (not that I expect anyone to follow it,I haven't been a member for any great length of time or got a significant no of posts to my name) is please don't treat everyone outside your little bubble as morons, not all of us are you know, sometimes people just write stuff when they are drunk.

I think it's pathetic to moan about the moaning. Every Friday night you go to a club with your mates and you lurk around the edge of dancefloor watching the ppl dance but not dancing yourself. And you've done that every Friday for 3 years. Then one night after necking 14 white Russians your confidence is so high you decide to make your dancefloor debut. Ta-dah. But unfortunately your drunken dancing is tez and weird. Arms flapping, too many spins, bumping into ppl. Well guess what? Them ppl are gonna think you're a terrible dancer and will edge away. However, if you make your dancefloor debut completely sober with some slicky rehearsed moves you might be in line for a bit of bum-rubbing from the other dancers.

Or....you would probably never frequent the club again,I mean you are low on confidence in the first place,it's taken 3 years and some Dutch courage to finally get up on the dancefloor and as soon as you do,the moment you take the plunge, you are surrounded by a group of regular club goers (all brilliant dancers, naturally) laughing at you, telling you how bad a dancer you are, laughing out loud at you and encouraging all their friends to laugh at you too. Yeah,if I was that guy I'd probably give the club a miss, and think twice about ever attempting dancing in public again.
