Start planning drafts for new season?
Last season we began rookie drafts for established Dynasty Leagues on August 16th. Sounds like a good time to kick it all off again.
Also, everyone coming back? I'm in for all 3 leagues (Redraft, Dynasty, 2QB Dynasty (which I think is the Tony Kendall dynasty)) assuming they all run, of course.
Definitely in for the dynasty leagues. Not really bothered for the redraft if I'm honest.

Couple of questions as having difficulty operating sleeper
How does the waiver system work? where do you see your FAAB balance?
I can't see the way to populate my team and bench now I have drafted. the page says "Click on position buttons to update your lineup" and when i do so nothing happens
Hi Rich, If you are in the app and click Team. You can select a position and it will bring up all the players that can play that position. just select who you want and it auto updates. For FAAB if you click League and move to the bottom it will show you in your division and how many FAAB points you have. I have set up up that you need to bid for FA players which will process currently every wednesday morning at 9am. The higher the FAAB bid the more chance of getting your player. However there may be a need in the future for a certain player and a high FAAB bid will get your man. if more than 1 player bids the same FAAB it will go to Waiver Order for said period. Fire away with any other questions Do we get a rebuy/top up of our FAAB dollars every year? Or is that amount to last us forever?

It would be a case of allocating the teams and then allocating the picks. I guess not that much more time than setting up the yahoo? and then it is done for future years, and everything is automatic and all picks tracked etc when the league rolls over to the new season. But there could be something in the existing league that isn't covered in the rules/settings of sleeper too or maybe people like the functionality of yahoo and want to keep it?
If people like Sleeper and want to do it then I would be happy to donate a few hours to help in July, just to set up the teams and set up the rookie picks and stuff.
I think I prefer the sleeper to be honest. Also it would mean you only have to go through the whole set up once instead of every year.

Whilst Tom Ince wasn't a great signing it wouldn't even get a mention in the list of horror signings we (Huddersfield) made during our two year Prem appearance. You won't have even heard of most of the garbage we spaffed our money on, and the goal Ince scored against Watford in the Prem first season is probably the most I've celebrated a goal in my 43 years as a fan. So all in all he's ok, not least cos we recouped our money from Stoke anyway. Alex Pritchard was a way worse signing for example.
Just don't say anything bad about Collin Quaner! He was my favourite player for Union Berlin for a season or two. Now up playing in Scotland. I really thought he could make it in the Prem, but not to be.... Nobody is going to say anything bad about Big Col. Legend.

Do you remember the time we played 5 a side up in Beeston circa 2002/3 Steve and Lee Sharpe was one of the guys waiting to come onto our pitch next? A few of us stayed to watch, was an abs treat to see that kind of quality close up. Yes I remember that. Great quality. He could have done more with that talent.

Until after the draft?
Sorry for the delay in responding, Steve. Yes, keeping the Yahoo Dynasty league frozen for the time being. Until at least after the draft - probably some point in the Summer. If anyone wants to take over the running of the league, let me know. Hi mate. That genuinely wasn't any kind of criticism. I was just confirming the arrangements. Apologies if it came across as such.
