My uncle's horse Panda Boy is 3rd favourite for the Grand National so I'm not saying anything hugely interesting but he says "he's as right as he could be", if anyone fancied a bet.
It's a dream for him. He had a horse Doubleuagain that won at Cheltenham about 40 years ago. That ran in the Grand National, finished but didn't place. Winning the Grand National has always been a life long dream and to be so close is amazing.

That's awesome  Cool

Best of luck to the Panda!

Well done winners, and unlucky Tikay.

Cheers for running, Stu!

Well I'm not going to argue, but I seem to be about £200 "overpaid".

the voice of reason...

jokes aside marky, i missed you listing all your year long ante post bets, seem to remember you absolutely cleaning up last year or year before..

how did you get on this time round??

First time in 10 years I didn't have a single one.

Just too much going on, and haven't had the time to even think about it.

I've had a few good years, but mostly it was just a summer thrift club. I'd invest in Cheltenham and just buy dollars with whatever came back Cheesy

Lost about a hundred quid this year, so not bad for 4 days entertainment.

I've got some formulated spreadsheets for work, and when you're as clumsy as me, it can be chaos.

I'm always highlighting/clicking the wrong cell, so it transposes the formula and ruins everything Cheesy

Nice one, mate!

I did, and did not enjoy getting to bed at 7am... Though being sober has its upsides when you wake up Sunday Cheesy

I had a bet, but not a massive one and had said the same to all my mates who watch.

They were all on the BSD hype train, but I said the same thing I said when he fought Conor the first time, and was a similar price.

That said, I have to give a disclaimer that I never back against Dustin, and probably won't if he fights Islam.

Yes the odds on the first Conor vs Dustin fight were also insane. Why is he so underestimated?

I generally do a power nap and then wake up at 4am here in Germany for when the main card starts!

I think it's more that the opponents are overestimated on past performances, rather than looking at the matchup in isolation.

That was definitely the case with Conor. who still had the 'aura' about him, even after Khabib.

Same with Khamzat, when he was slated to fight Leon.

I had my biggest ever bet on Dustin to beat Conor, and in a double with Leon to beat Khamzat.

Bookies have gotten much better than they used to be, bu you can still get some decent ricks now and again.

I try to sleep in on Saturdays, as I'm no good at power napping anymore. I'm a fightpass early prelims man, too Cheesy

Hope you are well soon ironside - a vpn of some kind should sort out the hospital anti-gambling firewall. (some betting sites block vpns but racing post etc should be ok)

I will tether my tablet to my phone got 1.2 gb left left this month, just trying not to run over 🙃.  But looks like I am going to get out Monday to get the antibiotics on a picc line for 6 weeks. So won't need the rest of the 1.2gb anyway.

Glad you're escaping in time for Chelts!

Was trying to rail the final last night while I was working, but didn't get to catch a lot of it unfortunately.
