Why remove my post and not the one going over the top attacking me typical uneven handling expected at this place.

It was removed at the same time. I hadn't spotted it until you quoted it.

Fair do's.

Sorry for being naive..

(Hope Keys gets another good laugh out of this post)

Why don't these grimmers just say to their friends "I'm busto, can you lend me some money?" instead of all the bs?

FWIW i've not grimmed in this manner just done a couple of stupid things on stakes. I can't imagine it is that easy to borrow money admitting you are skint though? If you openly admit to having done it all in at poker where is the lenders confidence level in their ability to repay going to come from? PS can you lend us a bag? ;-)

Depends on who are asking I guess.

If I was broke, I would explain the situation to a friend (not a random poker player) and ask for a loan and say I'd pay them back as soon as I've got it.

Going through all the bs excuses surely makes it less likely you are going to get a loan and more importantly make you look like a grimmer when you don't repay.

If you were totally skint I might lend you a small amount to live on (nowhere near a grand though). I definitely wouldn't lend you money to gamble.

Ah well now we are talking about 2 entirely different things i'd see no reason to come out with any bs if you just wanted money to live on but guy ITT clearly wanted to carry on gambling to try and get out of the mess he had created.
At least the high stakes HU sharks have had a nice touch out of this story it's a classic rich get richer poor get poorer.

Sigh relegated to 3rd best grimmer of all time.

Had heard all the stories and told dreenie to be careful with this guy.

Can't work out if your abs com or a dick.

Prob both to be fair. I snap got an msn from kellet which reminded me i might be 4th think this calls for a poll.
Btw me and Greeky are sorting our issue privately now.

No offence Dave, I like you and wish you all the best.

I think you should give up poker and try something else, you are still young enough and bright enough to find a decent career.

Been trying to get back into accounting for most of the last year not to give up poker completely but play as a hobby again. Proving next to impossible with a 6 year CV gap. Now have a foot injury which is stopping me doing most of the types of work i have been able to get so anyone owed will likely have a significant wait.

cos, according to my staking spreadsheet I got full payment to stars on 14/10/09. assume you should be the same

I don't have a stars and no recollection of it.

However Dave's recollection of me insisting upon my immediate payment is DEFINITELY INCORRECT and I have proof from the time to back this up. However, I don't know whether I've been paid and can't remember or haven't been paid.

The fact Dave chose not to answer is unsurprising.

So you DEFINITELY didn't get payment of $137 on 12th August 2009 to Greekstein on Full Tilt then?
My transaction history must be bsing?

Be interested to hear wtf this has to do with you?

I know that's the case for Robert and possibly Jakally (the others who are owed according to the old thread) but you've never told me you had any problems sending cash back to me...

Yeah i paid everyone that could take funds on stars when i had them, had you been able to receive funds on stars you could have been paid about a dozen times since. Just never had any significant funds of my own on full tilt. If you want to PM A/C no Sort Code and name i can do a bank transfer next time that's an option.

Ok I'll say this on the matter. Pretty simple facts.

- I was staking Dave to recoup money I'd lost when he did the blonde stake in (of which I had a piece). Back when I used to have faith in people I thought Dave was just a degen but a good player and that he intended to pay people back. Hopefully with profit he could pay the other stakers back.

This is a downright lie trying to appeal to the masses your Blonde stake was paid back last year i think you were the first to get paid back you pretty much insisted so, also 90% of that money has all been repaid a long time ago by myself and not through any staking help. The other 10% is people i couldnt get hold of or couldnt get money to.

Presumably riverdave's sig is German for "The Jews"?

If not it could be one reason why the compliments have not been flowing Dave..

What was this?

Dave has "Die Jews" as his sig

wtf?

I have always given Dave the benefit of the doubt on certain things (I don't know why), but that is as despicable as you can get.

Keith i'm pretty sure it's less despicable than turning up outside my house with gangsters in tow and robbing me of money, pretty sure you are also big pals with the person behind it who happens to be of jewish background and you even know the story. That's just one incident.

Actually there is pretty much nothing that is more despicable than anti-semitism.  That along with other kinds of racial and relgious discrimination have led to the mass slaughtering of millions of people in the last century alone.  If you happen to have been done wrong by somebody that is Jewish is isn't in any way an excuse to suggest in a public forum that jews should die.

Glad i don't have to live by your moral code and try not to take everything written on the internet so literally.

How does falling out with one Jewish person become "Die Jews"?

Now you've fallen out with Cos do you hate all Greeks now?

You are going to run out with people to be friendly with pretty quickly if that is your criteria.

I already mentioned in my last post that was just one of several incidents with different people. Also pretty sure i don't need friends like that.
I explained all this to a VERY respected member of this board who PM'd me last night asking for an explanation and i also explained this was a little tongue in cheek. The signature had been there since last year when i last posted on the board and was also a reference to the I-Poker debacle. Pretty sure i don't actually wish death on anyone having lost my girlfriend to cancer in February.
