I will say that the guy in 1st position had been VERY aggressive, and his limp made me think AA KK. As for the guy who raised from the SB - no idea!

Your hand is not relevant whether it was the TT you had 72o or even QQ instead. You said that you believed the guy for AA or KK. This means that you can't possibly do anything other than pass regardless of how good your read was.

The guy in the SB , I think, would have also picked up on the fact that 1st position had limped rather than raised (as he had been doing alot).

It wasnt an easy fold, but I felt I had to be behind.

Oh, forgot to mention, we were down to 11 (10 make Final Table) and there was a guy on other table with only 18k

looks like it was purely an outright steal from notsponsored and really is not the sort of hand you want to be gambling with. if you call then you are pot committed, if you raise then he'd call anyway. he's using his chip advantage aggressively to throw everyoe off the hand and he probably has A-x or K-x.oyu were right to fold here and wait for a better position or wait for him to knock someone else out.

Right I see now (those ultimate bet hh are more difficult to read).

I guess that you can never be wrong by folding here. There is a good chance that you are racing and you don't play that long in a decent tournament to run short on a race that is not on your terms.

I push with TT if I can get em in first here, but to call I pass.

short handed you have 10 bb's and TT, There are already 3 bb's in the pot + his raise so what if its a 55-45, stick them in

If he's a good player his raising range will be wide here. TT's good enough surely...

If he's exceptionally tight and you know he's only got JJ+ AK+ then fold.

Nothing wrong with gambling here I think with the  overlay in the pot.

If he turns AK face up, would anyone pass?

It's nice to think you'll find a 70 30 shot or better shot soon but realistically you will be blinded and anted away before this happens. Much more likely you'll be forced into a steal with a much weaker hand.

Interested to see what others think.....
