A few years ago I started getting paranoid that I was surrounded by jellyfish whenever I swam in the sea on holiday.  This resulted in a few 'amusing' reactions when my leg brushed seaweed or similar.

In the end I decided to confront it by giving scuba diving a go.  What a transformation!  Now I spend half of my non-Vegas holidays underwater trying to spot sharks!

Other than that I do get a bit freaked out by wasps.  One of my earliest memories is, having just learned the trick with dogs, trying to stroke one as a toddler.  Its the only time I can remember ever being stung and I'm not keen on repeating the experience, particularly as I knew someone who died as a result of wasp stings.

One of my best friends from University has the strangest set of phobias I've ever known.  He's scared of fridges, bananas and tupperware!!!  I thought he was winding me up originally but over time I learnt that they were genuine.
