You and your opponant (heads up) have 2000 in chips after posting the blinds. 100 in the pot.

You have Ah 2H your opponant has 10D 10C (you both know each others hands) flop 7H 4H 10S. Whats your move?

I would be intrested on how people would play this because of the possible outcomes. All in? raise 4x BB???

Erm, check fold because your opponent is a big favourite and you've seen his cards.

Holdem Hi: 990 enumerated boards containing
cards  win   %win  lose  %lose  tie  %tie     EV
T c T d  737  74.44   253  25.56    0  0.00  0.744

Thats hypothetical really and i have probably not got across very well what I meant, so my apologises on that one.
I was thinking more of a check, see the bet and make the decision then.

If I know I'm a huge underdog, and he knows he's a huge favourite, he can bet what he likes and I won't call.

still fold to any bet.  If he knows your cards (as you say he does) he's probably going to go all in.

Well if he knows your cards, there's bugger all in the way of implied odds. (He ain't going to call your bets when you hit)

So you've 9 outs, and 45 unknown cards. I guess you're calling a bet of 20, and folding to a bet of 30 then.

There's 100 chips in the pot, and you have exactly 20% chance of making a flush on the turn.

(Note, if he bets 25, there's 125 in the pot, and you have exactly the right odds to call. Calling 26 would be a mistake.)

Hypothetically, he bets 20, you call and hit your flush.

What's the minimum amount you should now bet, in order to get your opponent to make a mistake.

Tank you are forgetting that he will be priced into making a turn call if you flush up as he has a house draw.

Only if you bet less than x.

What is x boys and girls?

140 in the pot, your opponent has 22.73% chance of housing up if he calls.

x is 41. This is interesting though. I would have thought it would have been approx 30% to hit by the river. I guess that 25% takes into account the redraw to the house.

140 in the pot, you bet 41.

Your opponent has to acll 41 to win 181.

Your opponent is +Ev to make the call still (by like a less than halfa halfa a chip)

0.2273 x 181 = 41.1413

For him to make a mistake, you'd have to bet at least 42.

0.2273 x 182 = 41.3686

It is now you that make the less than halfa chip. Wahey.
