Busted out of a tournament on the 1st hand earlier (which hasn't happened for ages), i made the broadway on the flop, he made a set, all the chips went in and he made a full house on the turn. ($75 buy in)

Has anyone busted out of a big event on the very 1st hand?

If yes, what were the circumstances?

I went to Luton once to play a £250 freeze out, I hit trip 5's on the flop first hand, I raised, he set me in with a straght/flush draw, I called and he hit

Peter 'The Bandit' Evans also busted out first hand at Luton once, he was on a bad run at the time, there was an ice bucket on the floor, Peter kicked it so hard it flew over 4 tables, he almost got barred

Peter is one of the nicest blokes you will ever meet, its a joy to share a table with him, the tales he can tell are worth the entry fee alone

Ironside & Ariston have season tickets for busting out first hand. When Ariston says he went deep, he's lasted a whole roind. When Ironside says he went deep, don't ask.......

Adam, yes, Rumit busted out very first hand of the EPT or Euro Champs at The Vic, against Joe Grech, AA v KK, and I THINK Rumit had the Aces. But there were no Live Updats from blonde in those days, it was pre-blonde, we were not born until January this yeaer, & Copenhagen was our first. It just SEEMS like we have been around longer.....

Two jacks I had, two aces he had..Jack comes with flop. ... I raise and get a all in thrown at me.. I call and an ace comes on river..

that's simpler than the crap I just typed here. lol

I bought in on the first 4 hands of a £20 rebuy comp once. Never on a freezout tho. Ah sheesh, why did I have to go and say that with the Gala coming up.  Lips Sealed

Busting out first hand on a rebuy doesn't quite count Smiley

But anyway, Monday nights NL £5 bingo night at the Riverboat, I'd just been talking to the table (mainly faces I'd not seen before) about how I was not going to have even one rebuy this bingo night, so don't raise me if I'm in the hand because it's going to be the nuts etc etc.

(50/100 - 1000 chips each) Everyone limps around to me in late position, and I make it 500 to go with KcJc. Fold around to early, and get two callers. Flop comes mid-low, with 2 clubs. Checked around to me, and I throw the other 500 in. One caller, who turns over KhQd.

No clubs, but we hit a king.

BUY IN. That'll teach me for trying to bully!
