First hand:

I believe both plays were pretty poor, the K-J in particular. I think the Q-J can be forgiven as he was short-stacked. Although, I'm never too keen reraising all-in on a potentially dominated hand like Q-J.

Second hand:

Not a great call either, especially against a tight player like yourself. Although, I sometimes make these calls if I have some chips - makes people think twice about nicking your blind.

I think it's a pound for the bad beat kitty. My advice would be to remove all the negativity from your game and play with more confidence. You're always going to find poker tough if you're constantly worried about outdraws and bad beats.

sure I've explained before, the negativity is gone from my game. the beats dont bother me. just interested to see if anyone else makes these calls. I'm not as tight as you remember since the finacial pressure is off. I'm still definitely on the tighter side of average but the occassional eyebrow gets raised when I show down and win with 9,7 off or similar.
