if it was a winner takes all tournament it's the correct call. but you have enough chips to fold this.

900 to win 2k?

I don't see how it is ever a correct call vs 2 players.

in a winner takes all tournament with 14 left i think it's a good value call. your cards are live here about 80% of the time as they're both very short stacked. 3 BB and 6 BB. so i would call it. you need chips in that type of tournament after all.

but it's not a winner takes all tournament so it doesn't matter!
oh wel..l we nearly agreed on something for once..

What range of hands do you put them on? I can't see this ever being a call.

I'm with flushy. This is never a call for me. Hell guys, even Flushy would fold this... that's a clue in itsself.

I can't see any justification for calling 2 all-ins for 1/3 of your stack with 6/7off here.

Heh, don't get me wrong - I agree with you that is was a stupid call, don't really know why I made it to be honest. Was pretty much on tilt due to something that had happened on another table at that time, but I know that that's not much of an excuse. The reason why I asked, though:

After I made the call, there was quite a lot of discussion on the table about it, and two of the other players claimed it was a justified call, considering that both of the othe players were rather desperate for chips, therefore pushing with any two broadway, probably even overlapping to some extent giving me 6 outs and reducing their chance to improve. Didn't make too much sense to me, was just wondering if anyone here would come up with something similar.
