hero, with two others to act including UTG limper and original raiser does what?

all three foes are solid players I respect. In the sessions with them to date I have not seen them get out of line much

This influenced my decision not to pump it up pre-flop multiway

I think you've got to raise to eliminate players.

Playable pot, but you'd like to continue heads up (and of course not too sad if you win it right there)

seriously though, was this scenario normal? raising and most of you call every now and then, or whether most folded when one of you raised and so on?

no its not one of those.

and yes I was playing it "no set no play" style, conservatively

however interested on the various thoughts of others

You played the hand to hit a set. You didn't, so now you fold.

If this is an easy pass, I'm glad I don't play cash.

I think you have to reraise preflop. Now I'm taking Kingfaruk for an overpair as I doubt he'd bet the set. It's a very tricky one but I reckon I'd probably fold here. flatcalling is definetly not an option so unless you're willing to risk 300$ on this (King faruk only has 200$ behind and you'd have to stick him all in to isolate and maybe get him off the hand) it's a fold.

I folded (a conscious decision...no set, no play against three oppos, one of whom comes firing out $100 OOP on a connected flop)

utg and orig raiser fold too

$100 flop bettor wins uncontested

Please re raise preflop, so much dead money out there and it makes the hand so much easier to play.

As played, pass flop.
