Are there any decent guidelines on moving up limits/buyins? Do you move up when the money at your level no longer inspires you enough to care how you play? Are the players at higher and higher limits/buyins a lot better, or just a lot better off? Or more aggressive? I occassionally watch some superhigh stakes stuff and am amazed at some of the donks around. What brings about your decision to move up?

if they are donks you should do all you can to raise the funds necessary to get in the game and make an absolute fortune.
