I crashed out in my bed last night but decided to have a go at a $6 rebuy on blonde. The way I've been playing I didn't expect to last long but fancied seeing some cards before I went to sleep. I hit a couple of nice hands early and pick up a decent stack but decided to have a bit of of a laugh and trying playing 'Scandi'. I've experimented with this a couple of times in the past with various degrees of success but it's a lot of fun. So in short order I've peed it all way chasing all sorts of draws and then have a couple of rebuys which I build up then waste away, by this this point I've convinced everyone that I'm a total loon. On my fourth rebuy the deck starts hitting me in the face and  I'm just cleaning up here and 2mins out from the end of the rebuy period everyone inexplicably goes all-in, happy days as I've got KK, fair enough someone else has AA but I hit a K on the flop and go into a big chip lead. The rest of the tourney I'm up and down I little but never worse than 4th and the hands I'm losing big on are all out draws. I get down to 18th just in the money and the break comes round, next thing I wake up at 6 o'clock the sun is streaming through the window and the morning chorus is well under way. I look at the leaderboard and find I got knocked out 11th.
50p on it's way.

The great thing about live play over online is that there are no glitches like disconnects and stuff. That was until I saw a grandad 'disconnect' in the middle of a cash game, right there in amongst the action. Is it unethical to let him wake up in his own time? I did not want to startle him. Especially if he woke up and my inside draw hit.
