I'm considering playing in a festival before autumn and am not sure which one to pick, so I'm after some advice. I might be moving abroad soon, hence my motive for getting some live action before I go. I've not extended myself past the APATs yet but feel the time may be right to at some point soon.

Naturally I want good value, decent clocks, structures and deep stacks etc.

So it would be really appreciated if people could give me their opinion on the following shortlist:

a. Blonde Waterford Festival.
b. Southampton Last of the Summer Wins.
c. Blackpool GUKPT.

Plus if anyone can think of any fantastic value I'd love to hear players suggestions...

a or c

c for playing in an important series in your home town. Also a chance to see Blackpool FC before too many relegation worries emerge

a for the structure and the crack, lower buy in too

trying to be unbiased !

Waterford, certainly. Best in terms of value for money. (Read Snoopy is playing! Cheesy)

C for me...I have been very impressed with the response everyone who has played in a GUKPT event has been giving....If only I had a grand to spare Smiley

Although biased, I genuinely believe that the Waterford event is the best of the three, plus it's always a hoot over in Ireland. However, this is only a £500 competition, so if you want a bigger prizepool and the chance of getting on channel 4, then you may wish to stump up a grand for Blackpool.
