I would be interested to know what would be a good payout structure for a tournament like the following.

Total runners 30-50, buy in the equivalent of $50

Format: 6 seater single tables, top 2 progressing, to a "Final Table" of 6 where ALL 6 palyers receive prize money.

Thank You in advance.

hi mate.

If its purely just the top 6 getting paid, id make it: (taken from pokerstars, 6 person payout)

For 50 players, it would be: £2,500 prize pool

1st/ 31.85% - £796
2nd/ 22.96% - £574
3rd/ 16.29% - £407
4th/ 11.85% - £296
5th/ 9.62% - £240
6th/ 7.40% - £186

these are rounded up and down to miss out the pence

you could shift a few quiz about to make the payouts rounder like

1st/ £800
2nd/ £570
3rd/ £400
4th/ £300
5th/ £240
6th/ £190

Good Luck mate

Winner takes all!, then we dont have to worry about what happens late in the tournament, we can just get super aggy, get knocked out, and get on the beer.
