lol  aye u too,  i get my tips from Ashley Carr and Gemstome who have gd records and my book balance agrees.  But your right i wont be passing on any more on this forum.  I lost a fortune on this myself but won quite a bit on the 14/1 ew on sat that i passed on this forum.    I suggest you also change your french conection.

I think you completely missed the point of my post...I actually said this horse should not be backed..but I know that if this guy says that a horse has been working really well and they expect it to hack up AND not everyone tips him..or some don't even see it...but the owners are on quite heavily...I listen and back it.

Also Ashley Carr is a tipping service..there is a massive difference between recieving a "tip" from someone who has been reading the Racing Post for "5 hours a day and does not tip short priced favourites" and recieving a tip from someone who is actually connected to a horse. Most tipping services are rip-offs so I don't tend to think they are actually reliable.

A guy did not give you a tip here..your tipping service told you to back the horse..there really is a massive difference between the two. You might as well read the racing post yourself and say "A guy gave me a tip" when you take the nap of Spotlight at a track.

me, me , me I can tip dust bins, its about the only thing I can tip right enough.

I think its just bad Karma, I have dug out some stonking horses at decent prices in the last few weeks and they have obliged and I haven't backed them as I have been rooked.  However it seems anytime I have a wad in my pocket I couldn't pick the winner in a 1 horse race.

FWIW, I do fancy Oranmore Castle in the 4:55 at Thirsk.

dont take much notice of tips myself, if someone fancies a horse and posts ,fine good luck , i wouldn't judge them if the horse looses, i would  like to see someone post any bet which is value ,it doesn't have to be a horse, anything, and gives the logic behind the bet ,i wouldn't back it blindly but if i think there onto something i will have a bet, doesn't mean it was a bad tip if it goes down at least i knew it was a decent bet at the odds. theres are a lot of speciality markets you can bet on nowadays, sports personalty of the year.etc. a few very good bets crop up every now and then
