Really?  I don't see any reference to my club!

All I stated was factual information.

It wasnt directed at you, the thread has gone from a good discussion to we took blah blah, you wont, we did this you havent rubbish. It's almost like you cant live without each others club. If one of em ever went out of business there would be some very bored Scots footy fans around. You dont even judge your own team on what they do, you judge them against what the other one does instead.

Here come all the fair weather supporters now, eh?
Yous struggle to take numbers to most euro away games then when yous do take a crowd ie Barca you go and embarass not only your club but the whole of Scotland.

Ohh on the subject of touting am with Hairydude on that one I HATE touts and had I known anyone trying to tout a ticket I'd have broken their legs and taken it for free.

Gary stop ur SEETHING for just a min pls lol

struggle to take numbers? we always take up our full allocation whereever we go and then some

as for embarassing the country-were celtic fans not caught on on camera singing pro IRA songs and singing **** the queen in barca?

all im saying is both clubs have a bad element its not just rangers as always seems to get pointed out

I probably started that sing song Wink

And Bobby your right Celtic couldn't survive without Rangers and vice versa and both clubs play up on it.

PS best of luck to the poor mancs!

tickets going for 7k for 2 (proper good ones)...wish I'd bought some a while ago now, would have been a tasty profit Sad For people selling on tickets Rangers in the final is the best result possible and the Scottish supporters will fork over anything.

Nice guy Boldie... Personally I think people who tout tickets for money are SCUM...just a personal point of view tho. but they are nowadays criminals in this country due to new legislation I believe.

But you are right we are fanatic(stupid) and will pay over the odds

Seriously ..I wouldn't ask 7k for tickets that go for 100£ normal price...I'd feel ridiculous. But I considered buying tickets when PSV was still in in the hope that they would make the final ..they obviously didn't so what should I have done if I had bought tickets? Given away a ticket to a final that I am not interested in when someone offers 2k for that ticket ? Would you not have sold it in that situation?

I have a problem with professional touts (they are indeed scum)..but someone whose team is knocked out of the competition and who sticks an envelope on ebay that "as a bonus is filled with a ticket to the Uefa cup final" (that's the way to get around it on ebay apparently..you sell the envelope not the tickets) and gets 7k for it can not be called scum..it's the people that say "I'll pay 7k to go see that game" that are stupid.

Well done rangers, whether you love them or hate them, then they have made it to the final of the UEFA cup. No easy feat IMO. I hope the rangers fans dont have the same prob / expenses i had getting tickets in 2003. People who tout them are scum.

Don't know what's worse, supporting a team that had Advocaat & Ricksen or one that has Novo & Ferguson.

Fk my life.

you think profiteering off these "poor punters" by selling them football shirts for £35 that cost £5 to make is ok?

No I dont but thats a completely different argument...also dont like the fact sweatshops are used for makin nike trainers etc etc etc.

At least, although maybe in an indirect way, the £35 I pay for my replica shirt will be going towards investment into the team I support

Tickets for this game will be £500 each imo. Ebay is full of cranks that bid just to inflate the price so the seller doesnt sell. Pre-seville there were tickets 'going' for £25k. no one in their right mind would pay £7k and wont have to.

Bandit - Rangers have had I think 9 European away games this season and not had 1 arrest, we take up our full away allocation and then some.  As for Barca, a reporter on BBC Scotland made the good point that they were complaining about us peeing in the street however it may have been because they didnt have any public toilets!  I hear they set up tons of portaloo's when Celtic played there.

Congrats to Rangers

BTW Cambo, how do they know they got a ticket in the ballot?  Ballot isnt until today I hear

Boba- the Ballot for the rangers fans(season ticket holders and travel club) are still to be made but UEFA also put on a ballot for the neutrals and residents of manchester to apply after the semi's or quarters- was the same with when we had champions league at hampden we had priority
