Maiden used to be great in their hayday.

I went to Monsters Of Rock in Holland when it was Maiden headlining.
Kiss were the support act, Helloween were there as well....what a day that was.

Wasn't that the year a couple of people got crushed to death during the GnR set?

I went to Monsters of Rock in 1990 when Maiden headlined (or was it '92 - blimey, can't even remember). Was pretty superb. Saw Maiden at Wembley Arena a couple of years later as well. Fantastic live.

that's the one.
responsible news reporting gave out some information. Two fans had been crushed to death and described them as male, long hair and wearing leather jackets. Several thousand mums, including mine had a panic attack. pre-mobile phone of course so no way of checking.
