pop up to DTD next week mug.
Brighton half hour ... DTD 3 1/2 hours = Brighton for an evening of abusing flushy in front of his pals FTW.
Sounds like a good craic. Only 45 mins away from me, if I can/could be arsed to drive over

An obviously biased opinion, but what a great result, and way way overdue!

Proof that literally anyone can win a poker tournament...or as one wag said to me yesterday"well played, you must have had a lot of f******* aces and kings!"

Many thanks to all for text, facebook emails and general good natured piss-taking. It was a surreal 3 days, and obviously I am very happy. Going to try the next big step in poker which involves geting out of Vegas with some of the loot still intact. I expect a fair chunk of it to go on hair dye, and the remainder on research into why old people colour their hair blonde and talk crap, sometimes for money

Special thanks to my good mates Julian Thew and Rob Garfield who sweated me through the final, the lows when I lost 6 million with  allin preflop 2nd hand in, the highs when I survived an allin with  with 2 people furiously trying to knock me out of the comp, and the eventual satisfaction and knowledge that sometimes it all works out. Both these guys knew me when I was poor, and luckily for them I probably will be again in about 3 weeks time.

Again, many thanks for the messages. I'll be giving at least a grand back in the Luton GUKPT.

Well done from me too by the way. Was tracking your progress in the WSOP event in which you finished 18th as well. Another pleasing run. See you in Luton next month.
