With stats like these, he's rarely-to-never doing this with anything you beat. Small set probably most likely, I suspect most of his flat calling range preflop is small-medium pps. With no history against a nit like this I'm not even sure there's very much value in betting the turn here. You're never getting 3 streets from worse, so could be better to bet flop and river - looks weaker, and he might even bet turn for you when checked to, with a wider range than the one he'll call/raise turn with.

Stats suggest fold

But could be on some kind of strong draw

I'm leaning towards pass but I don't hate if you went with this...

since ive started playing its always been mtt's where stacks are shallower and im getting it in here , so in this hand i got it in.
Ive been grinding the cash for a week or so now and its going well but there obviously are situations that it need to improve drastically like just pasing here.

if there are any good full ring players here that fancy talking strat sometimes on msn pm me. Smiley

Most full ring players are total nits pre and post flop, tptk is not the nuts in these games and this looks like a pass to me.

yar. plus byron is king of fr so ill jump on his bandwagon ftw. checkraises on the turn are 90%+ 2p+ hands in full ring.

have to agree here. i play a lot of full ring and a check call on flop followed by check raise on turn is massive, i would fold overpairs a lot in this situation

Not a check-raise here, hero is out of position. But turn raise still looks very strong here as he seems to be setting up stacks/pot sizes to get it in on river.
