if I've told ff to never remember the p/w for a particular site how do I change my mind and now get it to remember it?

Options > security > exceptions

Remove the one you now want FF to remember the details for.

I tried that but I appear to have no exceptions, the list is empty. I def told it to never remember the p/w and never get the option to remember on that site. any other ideas?
