That Thread.......

As many of you have noted, in PM's & comments, the "What did I do wrong?" thread by "cia" has been removed by the Mods overnight.

This was a unanimous decision by the Mods - all of us.

We were not unanimous as to whether we should Post a statement explaining why. We have decided, however, to comment now.

The Thread had been left up for some time. We always try to support our Members in times of personal distress, & cia is, & remains, a good Member. Hence it stayed up for so long.

Increasingly, however, the Thread became more & more one-sided, with comment after comment attacking "the wife", who was not in a position to defend herself. She was also, let not forget, quite possibly terminally ill. Every story has two sides, & to our minds, this was seeing one side only, with many blondes arguing in support of cia based on that one-sided evidence.

All in all, it left a bitter taste in the mouth, & I don't think we were seeing fair play, or even-handed debate. In that respect, it was deemed to be non-compliant.

If Mrs cia joins blonde, & the debate becomes two-sided, fine.

We have no issues with cia whatsoever. But seeing a defenceless person, who is suffering from cancer, being attacked by all & sundry (there was barely a murmer of support for her side, & not a shred of evidence presented on her behalf) is not the kind of thing we have traditionally encouraged on blonde.

We are not taking sides here, & we don't suggest cia has mis-represented anything.

It's just immoral, unjust, & bad form, to allow it to continue, in the view of the Mods.

To which I can see the reasoning behind the removal, I might not wholly agree with it but accept the decision of the mods,

I would like to take this time to say hand on heart that all my comments never spoke anything but the truth and as distressing as it might seem  to some of the other members here I was not the 1 who instigated the bad blood that lies between us,

yes OK you are only hearing my side but if she was ever on here I know she wouldn't be able to argue against the truth,but in the interest of fair play and having only 1 side I can see the mods reasoning.

I take no pleasure in my EX wife's current state of health as it causes myself unbelievable pain to think what my boys will go through if the worst case scenario if that does happen,and for the religious amongst you, do pray for that.

 I also believe that she should be focusing all her strength's and efforts into fighting the wicked evil disease that she has and not me.

Hated the thread and feel lame for not saying so earlier.
