I thought when Thatcher got booted out of Number 10 crying was pretty titanic Smiley

Yes a very pleasant event indeed.

+1

At the time I agreed with the sentiments of this but I've mellowed a little over the years.

9/11 is always going to win this hands down but for me the second most memorable/horrific moment has to be the Dunblane massacre.

I like the idea of Berlin Wall coming down and madasahatstand's suggestion of Nelson Mandella being freed being second.

They're positive things, and the list is a bit heavy on depressing death and despair at the mo.

just because i like maggie doesnt make me a tory i liked her as a leader but not all her policys

as for the tories in scotland they still get over 1 in 6 votes in scotland look along your street means one of your nieghbours is a tory

(assuming 2 voters per house)

Gotta be 9/11 its the only one in the pole that has changed/effected the whole world

I remember being in work when it came over the radio, left work early, and sat infront of the TV for about 2 days!

I think it will stay with me for my entire life TBH
