Significant impact on journey times will affect people's lives, and could be a factor in ending them.

Famlily of 5 who live an hour and 40 minutes away from Grandma now live two hours and 20 miuntes away from Grandma.

Instead of just over 3 hours driving to go and visit her and back, you're now looking at nearly 5 hours.

Doing it in a day becomes unfeasable. End result, no-one goes to see Grandma anymore.

gg Grandma.

Young professionals who had long commute and little leisure time as it is, will now have even longer commutes and even less leisure time with their partners. High stress levels are a factor in premature death.
I can well imagine that the 50mph speed limit will inadvertently KILL more than it could ever hope to save.

I live in Aberdeen, a little cut off from the rest of the country and about to become more cut off.

lets just all go with it

life will be so much easier and less stressful if we all just chill and talke a little more time and care to get there all in 1 piece,

I'm guessing you live in London.
I live 122 miles away from my daughter, I can't just go with it I'm afraid.

To be honest there is only one short stretch of road where I would go over 50mph on my daily commute not including the motorway and all the rural roads I know are too short/bendy to go over 50mph, so I don't care.
