Where did Phillips say he was +ev in this line up?
I think there is good chance that Phillips is doing it because it will be fun, he gets to appear on TV and promote stars/himself, also don't they get an hourly rate for appearing. I don't particularly think Phillps is any good, but he seems like a likeable kind of guy.
Fair point. I don't dislike Phillips at all- in my mind the producers have put less capable players on the show (to an extent) to try and mix up the dynamic, some might say fodder for the likes of ivey/antonius/durrr.
I can't imagine Phillips going too crazy with his money vs these players though- it'll be interesting to see if he gets involved at all.
Sammy on the other hand i'm sure will be great value, tough to see him leaving the table with any money though!
