High Stakes Poker Lineup Announced

We got a little present in our inbox this morning. We know who's going to be on "High Stakes Poker" and we might share it with you. OK, OK, we'll let you in on the secret too. Patrik Antonius, David Benyamine, Doyle Brunson, Tom Dwan, Eli Elezra, Antonio Esfandiari, Sammy George, Barry Greenstein, Phil Hellmuth, Andreas Hoivold, Phil Ivey, Mike Matusow, Allan Meltzer, Daniel Negreanu, Dennis Phillips, and Lex Veldhuis will all be on season six of "High Stakes Poker."

The show will premiere on Feb. 14, 2010, on GSN with Gabe Kaplan and Kara Scott calling the action and interviewing players.

Any names jump out at anyone? Smiley

Bit sad about AJ Benza getting the boot, but not exactly complaining about the replacement!

How Phillips can even dream that he's +ev in this game is beyond me... as for Sammy, I understand the ambition of wanting to play high stakes against the best players in the world, it's even admirable in a way, if completely crazy.

He literally must have money to burn...

Where did Phillips say he was +ev in this line up?

I think there is good chance that Phillips is doing it because it will be fun, he gets to appear on TV and promote stars/himself, also don't they get an hourly rate for appearing. I don't particularly think Phillps is any good, but he seems like a likeable kind of guy.
