World Cup of Golf start Thursday morning at 3.30 am.  Its being played in China off the top of my head and ive had two bets which I like the look off.

The Swedes are 3rd faves behind Ireland and England and have two solid golfers.  Both are currently in form and swinging well and conditions should suit.  England have Ian Poulter playing for them and I can back him or England is he is playing.

My sencond bets are Thailand at 33's EW and feel that they have a decent out side chance.  They finished 7th last time out and both golfers hit the ball incredibly well and both have played this course many a time with Jaidee stating its one of his faves.

Anyone else backed anyone else in this?

if someone shot 14 under 4bbb in a club comp they would be up before the committee with a handicap cut to promptly follow!

They are 4/5 now but I wouldnt be too sure just yet.  Todays 4somes is a different world to Yesterday and McDowell seemed to struggle with pin direction yesterday and a small problem can lead to your partner questioing things and then who knows from there.

Ive laid at 4/5

Going into final round there are 3 teams within 1 shot.

Ireland lead by one from Sweden and Italy.

Have bought a bit of my 4/5 lay back at 5/4.

Book now reads: -

Ireland : Small loss
Italy : Nice win
Sweden : Shippppppppppppppppppppppppppp

I'm on Sweden each way pre tourney so that was a massive swing on the last today. I like their chances from here.

Gutted about this result.

I was on Ireland from the start, greened up with a healthy profit on both the Swedes and the Irish.

Watched the replay today to see Rory choke again, the Swedes never holed a putt all day and the Italians hole out from 60ft on 15  and 16.
