Off to see a mortgage advisor tomorrow, do I have to tell them how much is in my online poker accounts?

I presume my poker accounts are a good way of 'hiding' my savings if I needed to for whatever reason (mainly from my missus more than a mortgage advisor).

No - they'll only be interested in earnings and outgoings I would imagine.  Would only want to know about savings/other money if you were using it towards a deposit I would have thought.  Having not worked in mortgage advice for more than 15 years I could be well out of date though.

Thinly veiled 'I have 10k and a house' post imo

Blatant "I have money in online accounts" brag.

You could either write:

'I had 10k and a shell pretending to be a house'

or

'I now have zilch and a house'

Cheesy
