Depends.

I know someone who was twice over the limit and got 2 weeks in prison (they hit another car, so don't know if that was why they got a custodial sentence)!  Someone else who was about the same, got a 12-month ban, think it depends on the magistrates.

The Jets had few options in terms of discipline due to the rules of the collective bargaining agreement. Any punishment they would dole out now -- other than what the NFL eventually decides -- would violate the CBA. That means the Jets could not deactivate him or keep him active and not play him without risking a violation.

A bit of research and you can do what those guys do yourself. Most people don't have the desire to do it but not many would refuse to do it if they knew how.
