Yeah the disconnecting time was pretty harsh,Stars is pretty tilting how longer it takes every hand but it's better than snap folding.

I was disconnected from just Sky 3 times during this tournament so it's not like the problem is only isolated to individual cases

2nd, in the cruellest circumstances. After a 40 minute Heads up, she disconnected, & with blinds at 30k-60k or whatever, it was over within a minute.

Not wanting to be harsh, but to all the people complaining about lack of sportsmanship - would it really be wise to wait until the blinds were 40k/80k or 50k/100k to give your opponent time to reconnect? - you might as well say if your opponent disconnects we'll decide the winner by flipping a coin.

There is a difference beween realising that your opp has discon'd and just letting the timer run down to give them just that wee little bit of extra time to re-connect and what this guy was doing last night - which was raising a miniscule sec straight away the make the hands/blinds ping round as fast as they could.

So yes, in my mind, it was a complete lack of sportsmanship on the other oppo's part.

I hear what you are saying though, but still I feel integrity and dare I say conscience 'could' have come into play in this particular instance.

Would it be wise to wait - probably not ..... but I'd rather be left with extra time to try and reconnect therefore having a 'fighting' chance of coming back rather than be left trying to reconnect KNOWING that my oppo was 'stealing' the blinds whilst I did so.

Yeah, obv always try to wait. If you run out two or three times and oppo isn't back yet or it looks like oppo isn't coming back that's when you can finish it off..but give them plenty time IMO (I tend to wait and then fold when HU..I get their SB and he gets mine.)

I would also be hammering the hell out of the raise button (unless I knew oppo then I would stall)

meh if I knew the person or if we'd been having a good game or if the prize didn't amount to much i'd happily wait.

Unfortunately I do...well admittedly it's been ages since I got HU in any game (even HU games FFS) but I always used to anyways....unless oppo had been a prick in chat during the game, in which case you can nick all you want
