pub landlady looks like she might be able to get euro decoder for showing football in her pub.
would such a ruling if upheld mean that us mere people will be able to get this in our homes? will we be able to get sport only telly vision subscription (i really don't need 990 channels of shit) and for cheaper???

Sky ain't daft, if this goes through it will just mean that those countries getting the feed cheaper will be forced to pay a lot more in future so its not worth us getting a foreign decoder. They will get your money one way or another.

Us mere people already can, it's the broadcasting to the public in a venue that's being argued about.

Nah, They will just negotiate down the amount they pay to the clubs.

Players will have to survive on less than £200,000 a week!

Well something will happen. I'm pretty sure No 1 strategy will get get more money from the foreign markets or just not sell to them. They have to protect their lucrative markets somehow.......
