RIP Mr Conning

Never got to meet him, but listened to him and Shaun have their regular chats on skype whilst in Vegas last year and you could tell he loved his son to bits
I think he was worried initially that Shaun was having time out to just play poker but then he saw him win a couple of big games online and have his great run in the WPT and was very proud of his son.
He bravely fought his illness for a lot longer than doctors expected and over the last six months Shaun was driving down to the south coast to spend half the week with his Dad and had some great quality time with him despite him being very poorly.
