I can't not believe the next few haven't been mentioned...

The Cronic by Dr Dre, possibly the greatest ever hip hop album ever...

All eyez on me by Tupac

Without forgetting the late great Michael Jackson...

Off the Wall - Michael "the King of Pop" Jackson

And my wild card...

Totally Krossed by Kriss Kross... Jump being the memorable track...

Mack dad make ya, Daddy mack make ya, Kriss Kross will make ya  dad dont dance

Jump Jump...

both fabulous albums and deffo my top two by the beatles. was thinking rubber soul just edges it for me, but then revolver has my favourite beatles track on it, so maybe that does.  I'm gonna declare them joint winners Smiley

Not my usual cuppa, but really like the Marshall Mathers LP and had it on a loop when it came out.

The best two albums of 2012.

The Wedding Present - Valentina.

The Jet Age - Domestic Disturbances.

Read an article this week in the Guardian that made me revist Maxinquaye by Tricky and it really is an amazing album.  Almost hauntingly atmospheric and beautiful in places.  Also all of this talk of hip hop reminds me just how good Shadows Endtroducing is.  If you have never heard it then listen to it.

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York

The end of the last track still makes me go all shivery. You can almost hear the death coming.
