was a bit like the big race at haddock today with pretty much the whole field shortening on track
to be fair to Tanya Stephenson (not exactly my cup of tea but still) she said that was appalling and that nothing was value at this stage

Thanks everyone for the well dones, I'm made up. Also had a 20/1 and 7/1 winner on the night so can't complain - if those races had been after the final there could have been carnage.
Hope everyone made at least some profit tonight.

Apparently some people backed Ironman to start favourite at 9/2. Taking any price offered.
Then he was artificially shortened so he started jolly.
Absolutely stinks.

You can't bet on "who is going to start favourite for the 3.30 at Suthwell" on a Tuesday. But yes, I agree market manipulation takes place, but the Greyhound Derby is suppose to b the showpiece of the sport. |
