BB: 11,780 (34.6 bb)
UTG+2: 17,059 (50.2 bb)
MP1: 23,542 (69.2 bb)
MP2: 19,523 (57.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with
2 folds, MP2 raises to 748, 3 folds, Hero raises to 1,950, BB folds, MP2 calls 1,202

Flop: (4,440) (2 players)
Hero bets 2,200, MP2 calls 2,200

Turn: (8,840) (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 bets 4,025, Hero ?

Firstly, I'm not sure I love my cbet on the flop. Think Check/call might be better.

As played do you prefer check/jam, check/call or check/fold turn? Player is breaking even over 2.5k games and was playing 19/16/2 over 100 hands fwiw

We have outs to the nuts and he can easily be value betting/protecting worse. Start by calling.

Is this some kind of hilarious practical joke?

Yeah I agree with Sammy, I'd definitely start by calling but proceeding with caution.

Calling feels like the only play, c/f most rivers I would imagine too vs seemingly average reg type villian who probably wont be bluffing v much otr

I wouldn't normally try so hard, but didn't have another opportunity I could wait for. I wasn't ready to surrender what I WANTED SO MUCH, that easily, I couldn't guarantee a call with me staying stoic and relying on a flinch "top pair" calling reflex.

Also, I do like your idea for c/calling the flop. This is a board where we are expected to c/f a reasonable amount because it hits his perceived range harder than our own, so having a strong checking range is important. He is going to bet almost every hand he's peeled with here (incorrectly) so checking allows us to really exploit the villain.

Check jamming turn is not a great idea in this spot, our hand is too strong. Same reasons why I don't want to fold. Way too many broadway hands in oppo's range to fold imo. Villains range also contains set combos, but they're far outweighed by AK/AQ/KQ/AJ type combos, which a villain smelling a light3b on the turn will bet.

Call and re evaluate river, it'll be 1.2spr so lots of play in this hand yet.

First they came for the nits, and I did not speak out because I was not a nit
