Hey guys, and welcome to level 2 of the dtd online £55 sat into the 250 6max.

Blinds are 150/300/25

Fwiw there are 30 odd people in at this point, with 6 paid (5 seats).

We start the hand as the effective stack with 48,325. EP raises to 600, MP calls, C/O calls. We look down at   otb, and raise to 3k. Original raiser folds, and MP makes it 7,200. C/O folds, and we call (MP playing 31/9/0 at this point, but over less than 30 hands).

Flop comes   . MP continues for 3,500 into 16,275. We call.

Turn brings the  . MP bets 10,200 into 23,275. We call.

River comes the  Two Clubs, completing a backdoor flush draw, and MP bets 15,800 into 43,675 (leaving us with 11,600 if we call).

Obviously I lost the hand otherwise I wouldn't be posting, and I'm basically sure I made a bad river call and was not at all surprised to be shown KK. But, given the format of the tournament, and I suppose just in general, should I be folding at an earlier stage? 5b folding pre? Just calling pre? Shutting up about it and getting a beer? Discuss Smiley

the flop to turn sizing REALLY scares me, specifically the sizing of the flop given action/and how much they made it preflop, i'd be folding the turn fwiw having called pre to the resq.

lol'ed at first line of this op Cheesy

fold to the 7200 raise pre for me.  You have told him you ain't going anywhere and he seems quite happy to get involved.

Yeah I am really pissed off that I don't get to win lots of chips or even see a flop, but you have to fold pre. It's a very frustrating thing, but you have to try and not think how exploitable you are here if you are folding QQ here since these satty players are certainly thinking 40 levels lower than that.
