Just want to settle a small debate: we're playing a home game, and the play has been limped round to the big blind who removes his blind and replaces it with a single chip of a larger denomination, without voicing its a raise. The argument is does the raise stand, as it's only been a single chip placed into the pot?

Player intended to raise. Let him raise.

Of course this. Anyone who said otherwise needs to have 3 shots before the start of the next game and lighten the fuck up.

Yeah just ask him what his intentions were and to say it next time before acting. He could have just wanted to grab some change with a call...

How much was the chip worth? I'm only asking because if you know, you weren't pissed enough.
