Yeah I'd like to have gone in the 3k region pre, and bet the flop 5-6k but do it quickly, no deliberating (hollywooding). Live, players will tend to perceive your range to be wider if you c bet faster.

Ok, thanks all

In real life I just shipped it in on the flop, happy to pick up the 11k in there, and seat 9 called with

Turn
River

6k flop, jam turn. Simples. I'm not betting tiny, because i want to make people pay for making bad calls. People aren't going to fold Ax to 1 bet, but they might to 2, so may as well go for a decent size on the flop barrel. You may well still get people flicking in a call with TJdd or JQdd kinda stuff, which is great for us if they're calling 6k.
If we bet 3k villains are pretty much getting the right price to flick it in with gutshot/bdfd kinda hands not forgetting giving actual flush draws an insanely great price on a peel. Pretty happy to just go for a 2-street strat in this spot, getting too tricky with small sizings live is basically bad imo.

Excellent post agree completely,  speshly the last bit.

I think jamming all in on the flop would be a bit unnecessary We wanna get some value here

Agree^

Apart from the jamming flop, bit, I dont think its all that bad to just stick the lot in on the flop, your gonna get called so wide and bad so many times in these 1 night comps, especially multiway.  2-2-3 handed defo a 2 street strat, but 4+ whatever gii

The reason I asked was i thought maybe i undercooked it slightly pre and that my shove on the flop was too heavy handed.

As soon as seat 9 called, while the other players were dwell/foldish, I was certain he was flushing and he didn't have the right price for that draw. I think what I'm learning fast about these midweek entry level games is my main strategy is get it in good and hold on tight.
