I'm at the car auctions, several of the reg dealers are eying up a Fiesta zetec diesel that seems to have a guide price that's a little below cap.

They are lifting the bonnet, sighting down the panels etc, what do I do? I stroll over and kick a tyre.

Lol. That's the thing, no one ever knows why they kick tyres. What do they expect is going to happen?


I heard a great story about when Stellios added a new, multi million pound jet to his company. During the official hand over he walked out on the the tarmac, kicked one of the tyres and said "Fifty three million you say? OK, I'll take it".
