i suppose in this era of netfliz, prime, streaming and torrents the age of blockbuster films not seen by most etc is long gone....

I see they're dragging Open All Hours out for another episode, shows how bad things really are at Christmas for television.

I'm not sure what's on that I'm looking forward too, I only really look on the day or the day before but I'm sure there's something on, there's enough channels.  Bound to be a good enough film on.  We watch National Lampoons Christmas Vacation the other day Cheesy (OK, that was on DVD)

And for "Live" viewing, The Boxing Day Test from the MCG, (v West Indies this year) this is always a lovely watch.

Starts at around Midnight I think, on Sky Sports.

Boxing day 1984 i was in Bermuda . TV would only pick up crap American shows so i borrowed my bosses Video player and hired all the "Ealing Comedies" from the local video rental shop and spent the day gorging on great British comedies ,sausage rolls , cassava pie and weed.

Probably the best Boxing day ever.
