PC help needed

any help appreciated guys;

since early today i keep gatting pop up messages saying;


message from system to alert
saying i need to fix my registry and directing me to various websites where i can download programs to do this.

is this a scam or something to worry about?

yep mate..  not really a scam but just an advert from a browser hijacker   go  to  www.download.com  and download and run adaware.. that should fix it for you.. its not dangerous but very annoying

dont install adaware. the free version has spyware in it, and also misses stuff they have been paid to miss.

Install the latest beta of the microsoft antispyware. Far better.

the adaware coming with spyware is surely just another urban legend?  you  dont work for microsoft do you?  hehehehe

i prefer to pay for spyware doctor

maybe not the cheapest option by by far the best

i tried out 4 different ones including adaware an mircosofts

spyware doctor beat them all
