i suspect that rfc did mean when rangers won it...being the 2nd team to do it and for the first time.

good post by johnlarrson....shows the media up for the absurdity of the manager of the year debate.

Strachan is a very, very good manager IMO. He built some good teams at Coventry (within reason) and he did very well at Southampton.

The new Rangers boss is very special though. I'm surprised he went to Rangers tbh. I thought he would have waited to be considered for the Man Utd job.

its amazing what you`ll do when promised the earth by the chairman. he has a job on his hands and if he doesnt get it right straight away it`ll be a long road. he certainly appears to have credentials but its a clean slate.
even the money talked about for the funds is a bit spurious but he must use it well...he wont get any more of significance after that - and making the cl this season is a must to attract players...they wont come for the uefa cup.

No i did meen when we done it for the second time

during the war times the league titles didnt get classed because of the war

but the games still went on and rangers won 9 in a row then from 1939 - 1947


so technicaly we still have done it twice
