Is that sarcasm again Tank?

That's sarcasm

...and sarcastically accusing someone of sarcasm may also qualify as irony.

An Irish stand-up (whose name escapes me) did a good set about Alanis Morrisette and how the only Irony in the song "Ironic" was that it was written by someone who doesn't understand irony.

Rain (or rad-e-ain) on your wedding day is just unfortunate. It only becomes ironic when you're getting married to Michael Fish, and he picked the date.

Similary, a traffic jam when you're already late is only ironic when you're a town planner on your way to a meeting about reducing congestion.

Good advice that you just didn't take.

If that advice was written by yourself, and you just didn't take it, that would qualify.

If someone advised Ms. Morissette not to write Ironic, that would qualify too.

Ed Byrne. He said something along the lines that, "A thousand spoons when all you need is a knife, is not ironic but bad cutlery planning."

"Ten thousand spoons when all you need is a knife? That's not ironic either, that's just f****ing weird. But of course, if you did have ten thousand spoons when all you needed was a knife, and then the next day you discovered that actually a spoon would have done the job just as well, now that would be ironic"

"Now do you know what's ironic? A stupid, whiny Canadian bint writing a song called 'Ironic' which goes on to become a massive worldwide hit despite her not having the faintest idea what irony actually is. Now that's bleedin' ironic."

Beat me to it.  The irony piss take of Alanis was Ed Byrne - very funny guy!
