I played last night in the Glasgow Riverboat 50 rebuy 5 tables started and got down to 3 tables everyone roughly on the same chips
Then all the fun started 2 guys started fighting (punches flying everwhere) over a coffeehouseing rule and got told to leave the comp
The guys where at my table and everyone wanted to know what was going to happen to there chips the manageress made the decission to split the chips at the table that it happened to the dismay of the other 2 tables who said it should be blinded out
If the chips were blinded out it would of taken all game
I was quite happy as i was at the table but can see how the others would be gutted
Just want to know what you all think should of happened or the rules other places have

Yes disqualified players chips are removed from the game.

Fists thrown at Glasgow. Same at the Circus i believe the other night.

Only a matter of time until it becomes wider spread I think. More games around so people playing more than they should, getting into more financial difficulties. Lots of people thinking its easy coz they won the first or 2nd time of playing. Perhaps casinos should look at this and reduce rather than increase the amount and the price of games?Huh?

The fight was between two well known and occasionally well respected regulars. As to the details, I was passing on the £50 game so I haven't yet found out why they where fighting. But I can hazzard a wild and fairly well educated guess Smiley

The problem with Glasgow is that the senior management 1) don't give a shit and 2) are anally retentive and refuse to change anything to do with scheduled advertised structures, etc. Credit to Michelle, she tries, but theres only so far she can push her bosses.

They have to make their chip counts tally on a piece of paper. If the chips don't match what has been given out (including the extra chips for races*) then heads start to roll.

* - Interesting side note, which really pissed me off. Sitting with a sizable stack during a hand when the beeps go for chip race and blinds increase. I loose the hand, leaving me with 300 chips left and they race off the 100 chips.

I don't get any high cards, and so am blinded out of the tournament. I am under the impression that I should be given a 500 chip by default as I should not be out of a tournament via a chip race. The card room supervisor says that in any event he cannot give me another chip because then his tallies would be wrong.
