2) I try and play live more than on line - It struck me that it was too easy to call on line. It is harder in a live game.

oh i dont know - it didnt seem that hard on Saturday..............

No I think it was..............hour long dwell on both.......by the way thank god for editors on tv programmes

If you can bust your bankroll in so few hands you are playing way too high for it.
For a great player a minimum amount of buyins is about 30 and scales to the infinite mark if your a losing player.

Move down, grind it back, learn BR management.

LOL If I am right - hes talking about a 25p/50p pot limit holdem game with a maximum sit in of £50......

nah micky the live game was the £1/£1 no limit game with sid and thomas etc playing and no max buy in- most had around £200 tho and it was quite a crazy game with triple straddles happeneing quite regularly so a lot of the time it was just £8 to call in a £1/£1 game

Well thats what i'm saying swordpoker-the game was definately beatable; my aim at the start was- I would wait for premium hands and play them strongly or if I could get in cheap from late position with marginals I would- so one example was a triple straddle- three callers I put in a massive raise with  -bigger than the pot and one chinese guy(who plays very fishy hands) went all in- I called- the dude requested that the flop be played before the hands get turned over- I said fine no worries(he obviously didnt want to show the peesh he was going all in with) the cards came down    two spades- he flips over  , and with these type of beats i simply didnt have the bankroll to sustain the poor play and being sucked out on- I was guilty of poor play myself tho too when i went all in with J10 on a flop of J 8 7 and it was obvious the villain had a good hand- he flipped over a set of 8's

ul man

u'll get back in the saddle soon enuff

having witnessed u play live

ur made of the right stuff

I credit you for having a shot at the crazy cash game you mentioned though

my problem is im playing below my bankroll capacity which i need to get out of the habit of to improve and to get a faster profit...i still treat this game as an enjoyable hobby which occasionally reaps rewards..I dont expect to make a serious amount of money......yet
