They the are flogged from time to time. I believe Ben Affleck has offered $350,000 for a 'Championship Bracelet' the kind you get for the main event only.

That Ben Affleck story is really bizarre, if true - what's he going to do with a bracelet everyone knows he didn't win? It's not as if he can walk around going "Championnnnnnnnnnn"....

Everyone will know he bought it, it makes no sense. (To me).

I agree, he's not that good an actor.

De Niro could convince me though.

There is a thriving auction market for all sorts of medals, from Victoria Crosses to FA cup-winner's medallions.

Everybody knows that somebody else won them originally.

What is the difference ?  Maybe BA sees it as an investment

when Brian Wilson let bradley strider, bfcousinkev and gatso wear and touch his bracelet at the blonde bash at cincins, they were all delighted. brad was chuffed for days. if i could afford a bracelet for him, id buy it. it would be something he'd aspire to winning one day and he would be delighted thinking that bracelet had been won by someone who achieved something he aspired to.

if you hear of any that have fell off the back of a lorry, let me know:)

To be honest, Ben paying $350,000 for it is probably like us paying 20 bob, and I would be happy to splash out for that price.
