Are you negotiating in the South or in the North
depends where your reference point is.
no further comment until appropriate time after Scottish event shenanigans!

Is Butlins Pwethelli a possibility? They supply the dealers and they would be sure to get a lot of people to stay over there for the weekend. They have the space the rooms.
That would make for a superb weekend away playing poker. Just an idea. A hard one to pull off I guess.

Hopefully not in Cardiff...no hotels due to Wales vs Ireland at Millennium Stadium on the 4th..
PS..Are the dates on the APAT site correct (2nd & 3rd = Friday & Saturday)?

9-11 is much better, gives you more time to plan, its a week nearer spring, avoids the rugby, eeerrrmm and lots of other reasons.
Noyjing to do with the fact that i'm in Ireland on 2-4. honest!;

OK...not asking for any sensitive information here but from the date ranges you mention...will this be a 3-day (Friday - Sunday) event?
Vacation time to book with the boss, you understand!

I guess they're planning for a big field, and so they'll be two Day 1s - one on the Friday and one on the Saturday.
This does make it interesting/difficult for a lot of people who have to travel, book flights, hotels, etc. It should all be a lot easier next year when the venues have been sorted well in advance, but I guess there isn't that luxury this time round.

Or it could be a smaller venue?

Heard from Des...elsewhere..
"Hi all,
Discussions are ongoing with the venue, as they have been for some time now.
It is likely that the dates of the event will be February 10 & 11 - subject to confirmation.
When APAT is in a position to confirm final details, rest assured, they will be posted - well in advance of an onsale date.
Cheers,
Des."
So that's that then....can't wait.
