Sorry I should have made it clear, there was no raise pre flop, everyone limped. Why do you think this is a joke?
Because this situation is extremely simple.
You have just about the best starting hand Omaha High can give you. Pocket Aces with the Possible nut flush draw (2 sooted cards). you have to raise preflop to run out the rags in this. It is a must in Omaha to raise with any hand this good before the flop. everyone has 4 cards and there are too many flops that can turn your great hand into a disastrous one.
then you hit the nuts on the flop with your trip Aces. I would be surprised if he called your potsized bet with 234 (he surely would have to have any of these three cards to have any solid hope of making his straight but fair enough if he did)
then the Turn can not have been any help to him if he is looking for the straight. would he call a 40$ bet for the gutshot? (again, to have any decent odds of getting it he would need to have the entire range covered in my opinion)
The two then comes to make a possible straight. but as there aren't many players who would play the 234 preflop (even a flat call with it is poor play) I would almost discount him having the 234 range. (say Ace, 234 starting hand)
that would really be the only hand that makes sense. If you flat called and he turned over the straight and he's a half decent player he MUST have 2,3,4 in his hand.
I reckon that's unlikely enough to warrant a call here.
