dont want to start a big debate here (ok maybe I do Wink ) but for my money Bose is just overhyped rubbish.

As someone who dabbles is real hifi, the money spent on bose "lifestyle" products could be much more wisely spent on other manufacturers kit. ask yourself this, why wont Bose sell thru normal retail channels, where their products can be compared side by side with other kit ?

the shure e2c are nice, if your budget can stretch, the e4c are far superior.

I have a sick Sennheiser headset, probably a bit too much for what you need but the noise reduction is insane.

Yes, they're ok if you have a big head! Most of those style headphones don't reduce down in size enough, so if they don't fit properly they end up useless. Give me a decent set of in-ear ones every time.

yeh i was watching some gadget show not long ago and they recommended in ear ones. There was a awesome set around 250 quid that they said worked better then on ear ones!
