Your description of the bloke

'A loose, aggressive player in the SB has 7,000 Chips. He is an American player I am familiar with, and has already advertised pre flop raises with sh*te,'    he has only called in sb position, therefore I think he has something like J4

He's hit his set and thinks your 'at it' therfore is betting it, however it's only an opinion I CALL.

The very last hand of the night goes to Dewi James, who finds ACES and talks Raymond O’Mahoney into calling his all-in preflop bet of 15k.  “If I had AQ, I’d call!” says Dewi.  Raymond calls holding pocket 66’s.

Dewi,

Do you think he had J4 suited or offsuit?  Wink

Also if you had trips would you bet into someone where a one card straight is possible at either end?

Probably sooted thought he was getting value   thumbs up, I believe because of the player it is worth a call, not saying in normal circumstances u should not fold. Having said that I'm rubbish anyway so Im probably wrong. >:?

What happened?

I passed (pleased with the discipline I showed)

The 5 on the end was an awful card for me, he's begging me to call, both by the odds he's offering and the tell he has transmitted

I show the A, he shows me 64 off..he's hit top straight on the end

My analysis on the turn was correct, I was beating trip 4's

A blank card on the end and I would have got more of his chips, as he confessed he thought his trip 4's were good on the turn

You have to fold this. He'd have to be a maniac to bluff a board like that. It could suit many bb hands.

I actually put him on 56. Wasn't too far away considering he had the straight on the end. From the description you gave, I would have expected him to be trips pn the flop.

good fold tho.
